Registration setup

Let members link their Epic Games account to your server — Zyron verifies the link, grants roles, and keeps nicknames in sync.

What verification does

Registration links a member's Discord account to their Epic Games account. Once a member is verified, Zyron knows exactly who they are in Fortnite — which unlocks everything built on top: custom-games key delivery, session sign-ups, stats, and leaderboards.

On a successful verification, Zyron automatically:

  • Stores the link — one Epic account per member, one member per Epic account. Epic display-name changes are picked up by a periodic sweep, so links stay current.
  • Grants your verified roles — every role you configure is added the moment the link completes.
  • Sets the nickname (optional) — the member's server nickname becomes their Epic name, so everyone plays under the name teammates see in-game. You can exempt specific roles from renaming.
  • Posts a log embed — each verification lands in your configured log channel with the member, Epic name, and platform.

Members verify one of two ways: in-game (they add Zyron's Fortnite bot as a friend and confirm a whispered code) or via Epic login (an OAuth flow on the Epic website that links instantly). Both end in the same verified state.

Set up via the dashboard

Everything lives on the dashboard under your server's Registration page:

  • 1. Pick the channel — choose the registration channel where the message will be posted, and optionally a log channel for verification embeds.
  • 2. Design the message — use the embed editor to shape what members see (see below).
  • 3. Configure behavior — verified roles, nickname changes and exceptions, and what happens when a blocked account tries to verify (log, kick, or ban).
  • 4. Send it — post the message to the channel. Re-sending replaces the previous message, so edits are safe to publish any time.

The embed editor

The registration message carries up to 10 embeds (Discord's per-message limit), each with its own author, title, description, color, image, thumbnail, and footer. Most servers use a single embed; multiple embeds are handy for rules, FAQ, and branding blocks in one message. The buttons attach once, underneath the last embed.

Buttons

The message has two registration buttons, each with a configurable label and style:

ButtonFlow
Register in-gameThe member adds Zyron's Fortnite bot as a friend and confirms a code whispered to them in-game.
Login with Epic GamesThe member signs in on the Epic website and the link completes instantly via OAuth.

At least one button must stay enabled

The /setup command

Prefer staying in Discord? The /setup command walks through the same configuration — channel, roles, and message — without opening the dashboard. Dashboard and command edit the same configuration, so you can start in one and finish in the other.

Twitch linking

Optionally, add a third button that lets members link their Twitch account. When enabled, you can grant a dedicated role to everyone who links Twitch — useful for streamer perks or sub-only channels. The button label and style are configurable like the others.

Blocklist

The blocklist denies specific accounts across Zyron: entries match on Epic ID or Discord ID and are enforced during verification and customs sign-up. For verification you also choose the action taken when a blocked account tries to register:

  • log — silently refuse and post to the log channel (default),
  • kick — refuse and kick the member,
  • ban — refuse and ban the member.

Managing links afterwards

Next steps

With registration live, verified members can sign up for sessions and custom games — the bots use the linked Epic account to deliver match keys in-game.
